- All emergencies, incidents and accidents MUST be reported by calling ext. 7-2333 or 504-257-2333
- For non-emergencies, call
- Ext. 7-2672 for Security
- Ext. 7-4125 for Safety
- Warning announcements, beacons and lights
- If you hear a warning announcement, follow the instructions
- Emergency Warning System Notification (TV Monitor), follow instructions provided on screen
- Beacons and Lights:
- Red – a restricted area or warning that immediate action is necessary. Stay clear of the area
- Yellow – Area where obstructions or moving machinery may be present. Exercise caution.
- Green – an unrestricted area
- Fire Alarms – Exit the building. Exits are clearly marked. Do not use elevators. Follow these safety instructions:
- Stay at least 75 feet away from the building
- Ask for assistance from any MAF employee
- Driving at MAF
- Speed limit is 10 MPH unless otherwise posted
- Obey all posted signs
- Pedestrians - use marked crosswalks only
- DO NOT enter areas which are barricaded
- Smoking is permitted outside unless designated otherwise
- MAF has areas that have ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS (eg. Bldg. 350 Plenum, 103 pipe insulation, floor
tiles, etc.) Only authorized personnel may handle such materials
